About Chef Blak

My Story
My name is Tequila Atmore from a small town in Polk County, Florida. I am a mother to a son and a Military Veteran. I served 8 years in the U.S. Army (2005-2014) and received a few Awards & Decorations:
 
⁃ Army Commendation Medal/Army good conduct
⁃ Medal (2nd Award)/ National Defense Service
⁃ Medal/ Global war on Terrorism Expeditionary
⁃ Medal/ Global war on Terrorism service ⁃ Medal/ Korean Defense service medal (2nd Award)/ Nom Commissioned Officer
⁃ Professional Development
During some of my time serving in the Military. I had the opportunity to become a Certified Chef. This passion grew over time & I knew I’d want to eventually make a career out of it. We all go through things in life that sits us down for a minute. Well I had one and in the midst of it all I chose to put my die heart passion first. From family and friends, the feedback has always been amazing. For years, I have been doubting myself but my Chef style is different.
This faith that I’m pushing towards “Chef Blak” will be done in the most humblest way because I know it’s my time to win.
